General Comments:
Anne Rosenthal has been active as a professional in gerontology for the past thirty years. She established a comprehensive care management service in 1984 for the Jewish Home in Danville where she has worked since 1975.
Anne has been interviewed in several media including Parade, Diablo and Money Magazines, Bay Area Business Woman,CNN, NPR, Womenconnect.com, Oakland Tribune, San Francisco J, and San Francisco Chronicle for segments on care management. Other media activities include contributing articles on care management for The Family Advocate, a journal published by the American Bar Association and the Journal of Geriatric Care Management.
Anne has served on the national and regional executive boards of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers and serves on the speakers bureau of the Alzheimer's Association.
She has also presented numerous educational programs to various professional and trade groups including Chevron, the American Association of Certified Public Accountants, Fee Only Financial Planners and California Emergency Room Physicians. Anne Rosenthal is the author of "Working with Families", a chapter in The Handbook of Geriatric Care Management, Cathy Cress, ed., Jones and Bartlett Publishers.
Anne is the recipient of the 1998 Rose Kleiner Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Field of Professional Geriatric Care Management and the 2005 B.J. Curry Spitler Community Service Award for Outstanding Service to the Community.
