General Comments:

Bob O'Toole is an experienced Professional Geriatric Care Specialist and a founding member of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers. He is a contributing editor of Geriatric Care Management Journal and is adjunct Professor of Gerontology at Stonehill College. Mr. O'Toole is also an independent broker specializing in Long Term Care insurance.

His company, Informed Decisions, Inc., is a private company dedicated to helping his clients make the best care choices for parents and relatives. Bob works with professionals of every specialty concerned with elder life planning: geriatric care managers, elder law attorneys, home care providers, health care facilities directors, financial advisors, clinical social workers and nurses.

Beginning with a thorough assessment of each family's situation, he then creates a comprehensive care plan that addresses the full range of medical, emotional, financial and legal needs. Once his clients accept the plan, he oversees its implementation and monitors its effectiveness.

Bob measures his own success, not just in his clients' acceptance of the plans he develops, but in the peace of mind it brings as his clients and their families proceed with their lives.
